ABOUT ME

I work as a journalist, author, ghostwriter, and editor — and sometimes I’m a screenwriter, too. Honestly, I used to think this was a problem. If I could just stick to one thing, I thought, my work would make more sense.

But then I realized that there’s a through-line that explains what I do: I love to tell stories. Your story, their story, made-up stories, brand stories, and sometimes I tell my own story, too. Here are my bonafides …

JOURNALISM

I’ve been the West Coast editor of Elle, a contributor at Harper’s Bazaar, a reporter for Entertainment Weekly, and the contributing home and garden editor at Sunset. My work has also appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, Cosmo, Allure, AD, Elle Decor, Domino, Vanity Fair, Hunker, Nylon, Women’s Health, Glamour, and more.

BOOKS

I’m the author of PUGGLETON PARK and PUGGLETON PARK: THE CURSE OF THE CANIS DIAMOND, along with PLEASE DON’T READ THIS BOOK! and more. My books have been published by Penguin, Warner Books, and Grand Central Publishing. I’ve also been included in several anthologies.

SCREENPLAYS
I’ve created and written multiple original television pilots and films for ABC, Paramount, Freeform, Sony, MTV, and independent film.

GHOSTWRITING, DEVELOPMENT & EDITING
I love helping others write books, screenplays, blogs, websites, newsletters — I think I could even write a killer lost dog poster if you need one. Of course, I can’t tell you who my clients because discretion is the point. Tell me what you need, and I’ll tell you exactly how I can assist.
